Aadhar info is sufficient to obtain PAN!

A new system was undertaken on a trial basis to issue PAN cards on the basis of Aadhar card details commencing on 12th February.
Under this system, 677680 PAN cards have been issued so far in a period of 10 minutes!
The Central Finance Minister Nirmala Seetharaman officially inaugurated this facility.
Those applicants for new Aadhar card having the Aadhar card details along with the linked cell number can apply online quite easily. The Aadhar card can be downloaded immediately. There are no charges involved in this system!
Until 25th May, 50.53 Crores PANs (Permanent Account Number) has been issued. Out of these, 32.17 PANs have been linked to the respective Aadhar cards.
Time has been extended until 30th June to link Aadhar and PAN.
