AICTE: Universities and colleges can conduct semester exams on dates as per local situation!

All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has instructed that the universities and colleges can take the decision to conduct the semester examinations as per the local situation/status.
In a circular released by AICTE regarding this issue, it is mentioned a large number of complaints have been received from students regarding the semester examinations.
AICTE has observed that the students may take up their issues directly with the concerned university/college. In turn, the universities and colleges must consider the appeals of the students, and based on the local status, they may conduct the semester examinations at suitable dates.
It has further emphasized that the details regarding the semester examinations must be released as per the time-table released by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
