Prospects for rain in coastal districts in Tamil Nadu!

The Chennai Regional Meteorological Center has informed that there are prospects for rain in the coastal districts of Tamil Nadu.

With the peak of the summer season, ‘Agni Nakshatram’ or ‘Kathirii Veyyil’ having just concluded, the impact of the scorching summer has been reducing gradually in the state of Tamil Nadu.

A low-pressure zone, developed over the Lakhdiv Islands, intensified and transformed into a cyclone Nigarsa, had stabilized over the Arabian Sea.

This cyclone Nigarsa drifted towards Northeast at a speed of 13 kmph and crossed the coast in Maharashtra. The ‘Amphan’cyclone had caused severe damage and there was a huge loss of lives and valuable materials in West Bengal.

With the raging coronavirus already causing hardships to the public, the cyclone also played a destructive role subjecting the local residents to extremes hardships!

In this scenario, the Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre has informed that another low-pressure zone has formed.

The Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre has further informed that due to this low-pressure zone, there are prospects of mild to medium rains in 13 districts in the state of Tamil Nadu.

It has further informed that there are prospects of rains with thunder ina few places.
