It is said that 12 ounce of soda has 39 grams of sugar that are 3 times more the amount we consume from a donut/ doughnut intake. It is known that doughnut is a type of fried dough confection.

Various issues of drinking soda frequently are

Joint Pain Issue: It has been shown by the studies that women who drink sodas regularly are more prone to getting affected with rheumatoid arthritis. Hence, reducing the intake of soda is important.

Obesity Issue: Lots of sugar is added to the body when we consume soda frequently. This would be converted to fats. It is said that a high-calorie drink having 140 calories per can could make us gain weight more than normal. Obesity could lead to several issues in us.

Tooth Decay Issue: This is also one important side effect of frequent intake of soda. Our teeth and gums get coated with sugar and this could lead to tooth decay etc. So, please be careful.

Diabetes Issue: It must be noted that both diet soda, as well as regular soda, are associated with type-2 diabetes.
