The State Government of Tamil Nadu has warned that stringent legal action will be taken immediately against schools that charge for conducting online classes.
The Directorate of the private schools of the state government of Tamil Nadu has received a large number of complaints that some private schools are charging for conducting online classes and compel that they should be pain immediately.
The Directorate conducted an enquiry as per the complaints received and has sent a circular that all private schools MUST NOT CHARGE FOR CONDUCTING ONLINE CLASSES.
The Directorate has further informed in that circular that immediate stringent action will be taken against the violating schools. No academic fees must be charged for the current academic year.
The Director of the Directorate of Private Schools, Karupaasamy has emphasized that all the District Primary Education Officers must take immediate action against schools charging for online classes in the respective districts!
