Chennai Metro City Lockdown: Banks to work only 2 days a week!

With Chennai and the 3 other neighboring districts to be on 100% lockdown from 19th June till 30th June, the banks may work only on 2 days in that period - 29th and 30th June.
With the increasing impact/intensity of coronavirus spread in Chennai and 3 other districts, 100% lockdown is set to be imposed from 19th to 30th June.
It is gathered that the banks might work only on 2 days during this period - 29th & 30th June.
The banks will be allowed to function on above 2 dates/days with 33% of staff.
In a notification released by the State Government of Tamil Nadu in this regard, it is mentioned that ATMs and ATM-related bank activities will function.
