In a single day, TN tests as many as 25,463 samples for COVID-19 infection

Many people are getting tested in the state of Tamil Nadu for Coronavirus infection. Yesterday, 17th June, Tamil Nadu tested as many as 25,463 samples. Till now, a total of over 7.73 lakh samples have been tested in TN.
Important information is yesterday in TN there were as many as 2174 Coronavirus positive cases and this is a record now. The total number of Coronavirus positive cases in TN has gone above 50,000 and this was pointed out by the state health department. There were as many as 1276 Coronavirus positive in Chennai and the total number of cases in Chennai now is 35556.
Point is Chengalpet has recorded as many as 3271 cases and is followed by Tiruvallur with 2037 cases. As many as 864 Covid-19 positive cases have been reported from Kancheepuram and it is followed by Tiruvannamalai with 816 cases. In the state of TN the total number of persons who have died due to Coronavirus is 576. Yesterday as many as 48 persons passed away due to this infection in TN.
It must be taken into account that 842 patients were discharged from the hospitals after getting treated and the total stands at 27624. There are as many as21990 active cases in TN.
