Sudden increase in COVID positive cases in the TN central districts is creating fears to many now

In the last 2 days, there has been a sudden increase in the number of Coronavirus positive cases in the central districts of TN. Many people have left Chennai to these places in TN. It is believed that this sudden exodus from Chennai city to other districts in TN had hiked the number of Corona cases.
On Wednesday, as many as 64 Corona positive cases were reported in a single day in the central region and as many as61 cases were reported on Thursday here. Truth is in all the 8 districts belonging to the central region in the month of May there were hardly recorded double digits.
It has been shown that Ariyalur district till now has reported 400 positive cases and 379 of them were discharged from the hospitals after getting treated. Point is 21 cases here have kept the infection rate higher and most of the cases in this district had Chennai travel history.
On Wednesday, there were just 12 Corona positive cases in Thanjavur and it went to 21 the next day. Trichy had just 8 cases on Wednesday and it rose to 14 on Thursday. There were just 9 and 8 cases respectively in Nagapattinam and Tiruvarur on Thursday and these cases had Chennai connection. It must be noted that on Wednesday Pudukkottai district had 8 cases and on Thursday there were 6 cases.
From the morning of Thursday, many people have started to move from Chennai and this could lead to more number of Corona positive cases in the above said districts of TN. This was as per some officials. Fact is these districts have readied centres to take care of any number of cases. In Trichy, a 60 year old man had passed away due to Coronavirus infection. He was admitted on 15th June after he tested positive for Coronavirus.
