299 scientists from 32 countries have written a letter to the World Health Organisation (WHO) with the proof that the coronavirus pandemic spreads through small dust particles in the air. Further, these scientists have asked WHO to correct the recommendations it has made earlier.
The World Health Organisation has accepted that there are prospects for the raging coronavirus pandemic to spread through minute particles in the air.
In the current situation of global spread affecting millions, there is a prevailing panic among people all over the world!
Despite this, the experts from the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB) under the Council for Science and Industrial Research (CSIR) has informed that there is no need for any panic among the public in this regard.
The Director of CSIR-CCMB, Rakesh Mishra, has informed in this regard:
The latest discovery regarding the coronavirus pandemic is the germ of coronavirus may be in the air for a temporary period only. But this does not mean that it is in the air everywhere or that it will affect every individual.
At the minimum, this virus can fly in the air temporarily. In other words, it can fly in the air in the water particles of small size - less than 5 microns. This means that the virus can hang in the air for longer periods.
The public needs to follow the present guidelines given for the prevention of the coronavirus spread. The public should avoid gathering in large numbers. They MUST ADHERE TO SOCIAL DISTANCING EVERYWHERE. The public must avoid being inside halls where there are a large number of people - especially, air-conditioned rooms - where there is no natural ventilation facility.
