50k people recovered in Chennai

As the reports by the health ministry on Tuesday, the number of recovered rates raises back to 49,587 in the 15 zones of the Chennai city.
The city had the majority of the contribution towards the state’s COVID infections. The maximum cases were recorded in the zones of Royapettah, Tondiarpet, Thiru.Vi.Ka Nagar, Anna Nagar, Kodambakkam, Teynampet, Adyar, Valasarawakkam, and Ambattur. Hence, the city corporation had taken various precautionary and testing measures to mitigate the losses of infection in the city. However, the slope of COVID cases in Chennai kept on increasing. On Wednesday, the number of positive cases exceeds 1,200 that adds to a total of 72,500 cases in the city with a death toll of 1,146.
While the positive cases increase as a forest fire, the number of people who recovered from the disease stands at 12, 761 in just the past week. The recovering rate has been increasing in the past few weeks that bring faith in the state.
