The State Minister for the Tamil Nadu Government Department of Higher Education, K. P. Anbazhagan, has informed that the counseling for admission to graduate engineering courses is scheduled from 17th September and the candidates can register from yesterday (Wednesday, 15th July).

The candidates interested in pursuing graduate engineering courses may apply for the same from 6.00 PM yesterday (Wednesday, 15th July) until 16th August.

The counseling will commence on 17th September and conclude on 15th October.
All arrangements are being made to ensure that the counseling gets completed by 15th October.
For document/certificates verification, the differently-abled candidates and heirs of ex-military personnel need not come in person. Arrangements have been made to verify the documents/certificates online!
52 Help Centers will be set up for the admission process to engineering colleges.
There are 465 engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu. The total number of seats available will be announced later.
The announcement regarding the next phase of admission for the graduate engineering courses will be announced immediately after the release of the results of the +2 Public Examinations.
Regarding courses on Arts and Science, a detailed announcement will be released in 2 days.
As the college complexes are presently in use functioning as coronavirus treatment camps, there are no prospects for the colleges opening in the near future.
