S P B Charan, son of the hugely popular legendary playback singer S P Balasubramanian, who is presently infected with coronavirus, has informed that SPB`s health is steady and showing signs of improvement.
Payback singer SPB was confirmed with coronavirus infection a few days ago. Subsequently, he was admitted to MGM Hospital. Yesterday evening (Friday, 14th August), there was a sudden setback in his health and he was transferred to ICU (Intensive Care Unit). MGM Hospital has informed that SPB has been administered with artificial respiration.
A notification released by the hospital in this regard mentions:
“SPB was admitted with coronavirus infection on 5th August. With the medical staff treating him, there was a sudden setback in his health around midnight 13th August. He was immediately transferred to ICU.
Intensive treatment is now being given including administration of artificial respiration kit. However, his health is still in an anxious condition only. The medical staff is closely monitoring SPB’s blood circulation system and the internal organs’ function.”
Meanwhile, SPB’s son, SPB Charan shared:
“ Though SPB’s condition is critical, he is presently in the safer hands at the hospital with the best medical attention. We are confident he will be back to normal soon! We are indeed thankful for the prayers of a large number of well-wishers!”
In an interview session with a private TV Channel, SPB Charan shared:
“In medical terminology, SPB’s health is still in an anxious condition! After arranging ventilators, his condition has improved. Lungs are functioning normally. Artificial respiration administered is 60%. The Doctors are happy with the treatment so far and the response and are confident. We are also confident he will be back to normal soon!
