Time extension for engineering college admissions!

The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has ordered the time limit for admission to engineering courses to be extended until 20th October.
In a notification released by AICTE in this regard, it is mentioned:
“The Universities have to grant the time extension for admission to the graduate engineering courses and announce the same before 15th September.
The 1st Phase of the Counselling for admission to the graduate engineering courses must be complete3d before 20th October and the 2nd Phase of counselling must be completed before 31st October. The classes for the 1st Year Students must commence at the start of November.
In a similar vein, the counselling for the unfilled seats must be done before 15th November and the classes for the 2nd year students must commence by 1st September and the cases for the students who join directly in the 2nd year must commence by 1st November.”
