E-pass relaxation echo: a large number of vehicles entering Chennai!

Subsequent to the resent order released by the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu relaxing the regulation for the issue of e-passes that all those who apply with the required proofs will be given e-passes, there has been heavy traffic of vehicles entering the Chennai Metro City for the 3rd successive day!
The process for the issue of re-passes has been simplified that only the Aadhar card or Family Ration card details to be submitted. As such, tens of thousands of citizens have undertaken travel from one district to another.
On the last Monday (17th Monday) alone, over 14,000 e-passes have been issued.
Meanwhile, Greater Chennai Corporation has announced that there will be absolutely no relaxation on the regulation regarding 14 days isolation of the persons who are returning to Chennai after travel or persons who enter Chennai from other districts/states, in case affected by the coronavirus infection will have to be isolated for 14 days in their residences!
