Admission to Engineering courses - today last day for uploading certificates!

Today (Thursday, 20th August) is the last day for the candidates (+2 passed students) who applied for admission to graduate engineering courses to upload their original certificates.
The admission to graduate engineering courses to the engineering colleges functioning under Anna University or affiliated for the current academic year is all set to be conducted online.
The process of online application for the above commenced on 15th July and concluded on 16th August.
A total of 160834 candidates have applied. Out of this, 133000 candidates, have also paid the fees.
The process of uploading the original certificates online for the above applications commenced on 31st July. So far, 1003000 candidates have uploaded their original certificates.
As today (Thursday, 20th August) is the last day for the uploading of original certificates, the officials have emphasised that the applicants must note this with caution and expedite the uploading of the original certificates online before the end of the day!
