There is a question in many people’s minds regarding how the Tamil film industry would fare after the center has announced guidelines for the resumption of shootings of films and TV serials.
It is common knowledge that film shootings of Annathe, Valimai, etc have been halted now midway due to lockdown to contain the spread of Coronavirus pandemic.
It was pointed out by Mr. T. Siva, ad hoc committee member of TN Film Producers Council that big heroes like superstar Rajinikanth and actor Ajith, etc would not work until a vaccine was developed for the Covid-19 infection. This has made many producers worry and just small budget/medium budget films would resume shooting.
The safety measures would be taken into consideration first and then would start shooting. This was according to popular music composer and actor Mr. G.V. Prakash. Popular dubbing artiste, Raveena Ravi was of the view that it was difficult to follow guidelines in the dubbing studios.
