Prospects slim for the resumption of public transport services!

As it is expected that relaxation will be announced in the announcement on the next phase of lockdown imposition to resume transport services, the State Transport Corporations are getting prepared for the same.
As the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu is scheduled to conduct a special meeting with the medical expert`s council and all the district collectors on 29th August regarding the next phase of the lockdown announcement and the continuation of the prevailing E-pass system, the officials informed that they expect that the relaxation to resume public transport facility will also be announced on the same day.
However, the officials also shared their opinion that there is no bright prospects resumption of the public transport services in the prevailing circumstances when the spread of the coronavirus pandemic continues unabated.
The news that the renewal of the state transport buses (registration, etc.,) and payment of road tax, etc., have been postponed, the view of fewer prospects for the resumption of public transport services is further confirmed!
With the above the situation explained, there are only very bleak chances for the resumption of the public transport services which are eagerly awaited by the public!
On the other hand, the officials shared that there are prospects that the state government of Tamil Nadu may permit resumption of the public transport services at 50% capacity.
