In TN, final year examinations to write exams in person after 15th September

Around 4lakhs students studying final year arts, sciences and other engineering courses in TN would now have a clear idea about their final year exams.

It is well known that the students of arts, sciences and engineering were unable to take their final year exams due to the threat of Covid-19 infection. Now, the TN government is making arrangements for these students to take their final year exams in person after 15th September. This was revealed by Mr. K.P. Anbalagan, higher education minister.

In a statement, the higher education minister had mentioned that the final semester exams for the students in the state universities and in the polytechnic colleges would be held after 15th September.

It was also said that the details about the examination schedule and examination centres would be announced later. For all the final year students to write exams in person, arrangements are being made. The minister asked the students to start preparing and get ready for their exams.

Information is TN`s decision to conduct the final year exams in person has taken many universities by surprise now. This has come at a time when the higher education department has been consulting with state varsities on conducting online examinations.

Former vice-chancellor of Anna University, Mr.Balaguruswamy expressed his thoughts. He spoke about how the TN government would be conducting final year exams in person for the students and how the arrear exams were not conducted. Important information is the candidates could apply for B. Arch admission from 7th of September.
