Chennai Metro Rail Corridor # 2 - Services from St. Thomas Mount to Chennai Central to resume today (9th September)!

The Chennai Metro Rail Services from St. Thomas Mount to Chennai Central is all set to resume today (Wednesday, 9th September)
The Metro Rail Services had been blocked due to raging coronavirus pandemic as a preventive measure under lockdown imposition. In the 1st Phase of resumption, the Metro Rail Services from Chennai Airport to the New Washermanpet has been functioning from 7th September.
In this scenario, resumption of the Metro Rail Services in the second corridor as above has been announced to operate from today.
At the same time, the Metro Rail Services from Central via Koyambedu to the airport has been withdrawn temporarily.
It has been announced that the passengers can get tickets through QR Code.
