In Nungambakkam in Chennai, the maximum temperature recorded was 28.6 degrees Celsius and in Meenambakkam it was 329 degrees Celsius. Likewise, Meenambakkam recorded a minimum temperature of 24.9 degrees Celsius and Nungambakkam recorded 26.1 degrees Celisius. In Nungambakkam there was 0.6mm rains and in Meenambakkam there was 0.4mm rains yesterday
The cyclonic circulation has resulted in the formation of low pressure over west central Bay of Bengal off AP coast. During the next 24 hours of time, the low pressure would move west- north westwards towards Andhra. This has been brought out by an officer from the Regional Meteorological Department.
There were isolated cases of heavy rains in districts like Vellore, Tiruvannamalai, Salem, Dharmapuri and Krishnagiri. Information is that this weather pattern would continue on Monday also. Across the isolated places in the state of Tamil Nadu, a thunderstorm warning has been issued. In TN, in the next 24 hours, light to moderate rainfall would be there with cloudy skies above.
