No scope at present for reopening of schools in Tamil Nadu!

The Minister for School Education of the State Government of Tamil Nadu, K. A. Sengottaiyan, has categorically announced that there is absolutely no scope for reopening of schools in Tamil Nadu.

The State Minister for School Education had an interview session with the press in Gopichettypalayam, Erode District. He shared:

“At present, there is no scope for reopening schools. In the recent NEET (National-Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for pursuing graduate medical courses), out of the 180 questions asked, 174 questions are from the Tamil Nadu State Government Prescribed Syllabus!

Explanations have been sought from the private schools regarding their collection of the full academic fees. Stringent action will be taken on the erring private schools!

So far, 15.3 Lakhs students have been admitted in the government schools. The admission of students will continue until the end September. 2.5 lakhs private school students have joined government schools!

New Primary schools will be started in 15 places and new Government Schools will be started in 10 paces.
