Hence, more than any other year, this year calls for action towards the safety of all, considering which, the Southern Railways have now decided to introduce a couple of more trains to ensure the smooth movement of people across cities.
As per the media reports, the special trains that will start operations in the next two days and would continue running till 1st December 1including the Thanjavur - Egmore daily special, Egmore - Tiruchchirappalli daily superfast special and Egmore- Kollam daily special.
A daily superfast express will be run between Mysuru and Kachiguda in Hyderabad via Bengaluru from October 23 to December 2.Railways to run more special trains from Karnataka

The report suggests that special trains would run about 39 pairs of services. In addition to the new introductions, the Mysuru - Mayiladuthurai, a superfast daily festival special train will also be introduced, taking the number of trips to and from Mysuru between October 25 and November 30 to a total of 37.
Meanwhile, the railways had recently also announced that it would be initiating operations from Bengaluru and other cities in Karnataka to several cities like Chennai, Kolkata and Hyderabad - all in due consideration of the festival season.
