Eat these foods without fail for liver detoxification

The World Health Organisation or WHO has confirmed that liver disease is one of the most common reasons for the deaths in India. One in every 5 Indians is affected by liver diseases.

It is well known that liver is one of the vital organs and is involved in the removal of waste products from the body. Other important functions of liver are in regulating fat, removing toxins from blood etc.

There are some foods that would help in the detoxification of the liver.

Intake of fibre rich foods:
Intake of fibre rich foods like barley, oatmeal, whole wheat etc would be superb for liver health. It is believed that by consuming apples, beetroot and carrots harmful toxins from our body can be removed.

Intake of green tea:
Fat gets removed from the liver by drinking green tea rich in antioxidants etc. Catechins in green tea play an important role in the removal of fat.

Intake of citrus fruits:
The vitamin C present in the citrus fruits plays a huge role in boosting the detoxifying enzymes. These enzymes would help in the natural cleansing of the liver. Examples of citrus fruits are grapefruit, avocados etc.

Intake of walnuts:
The arginine that is present in the walnuts cleanses the liver. It is said that the omega-3 fatty acids in walnuts help in detoxification of the liver.

Intake of green leafy vegetables:
Liver gets cleaned by the presence of cleaning compounds in the green leafy vegetables. It is superb to drink green juice or eat green salads and this would help in flushing out toxins from the body.

Intake of turmeric and garlic:
When we consume garlic having sulphur compounds then enzymes get activated. This would help in flushing out of toxins. The cucurmin in turmeric does superbly in flushing out the toxins. The liver cells get repaired and healthy liver cells get regenerated.
