Information is gathered that a review meeting is scheduled to be conducted during the 1st week of November regarding the reopening of schools.
There was an important consultancy/review meeting presided by the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu conducted yesterday (Wednesday, 28th |October). At the end of the meeting, confirmed information has been gathered that a decision will be taken on the reopening of schools and colleges.
As a preventive measure against the spread of the raging coronavirus pandemic, the lockdown has been imposed right from 25th March in Tamil Nadu and other states and the lockdown continues. The current phase of the lockdown imposition is set to conclude on 31st October. As such, the Chief Minister of Tami Nadu is all set to conduct a review meeting in the next month regarding the lockdown as well as relaxations.
Further, it must be noted that all the schools and colleges are yet to open for the new academic year 2020-21!
Online classes are being conducted for college students studying in the 2nd & 3rd years. |In a similar vein, classes are being conducted for the students of the government and government-aided schools through television and online.
The Department of School Education of the State Government of Tami Nadu is conducting a review meeting in the 1st week of November regarding the reopening of schools.
The officials of the Department of School Education will have a review meeting with the Headmasters, and the administration officials of private schools. The review meeting will have detailed discussions on the issues regarding schools reopening and al l the precautionary auctioned that need to be taken.
