The Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre has informed that the latest cyclone to be formed, ‘Burevi’, is Centred and located at 470 km from Pamban and a distance of 650 km from Kanyakumari. The cyclone is exactly situated at 240 km southeast of the Thirikonamalai in Sri Lanka.
In this situation, it is informed and a warning is given that there are prospects for high-speed winds at 90 kmph are likely to blow when the cyclone Burevi crosses the coast.
