Indias second best police station is now in Tamil Nadu, Guess where?

People belonging to Salem and TN could feel proud and happy by this piece of news!!
For the year 2020, an all women police station at Suramangalam in Salem has been rated as the second best in entire India. Sounds fantastic isn’t it!!
From the list that was released by the Union Ministry it was confirmed that the first best performing police station in India belongs to Thoubal district of Manipur’s Nongpok Sekmai police station.
Many small towns and rural areas in India now have top performing police stations and this was mentioned by Mr. Amit Shah, Home minister. He threw light on the dedication and sincerity of the police personnel to prevent and control crimes and to serve India.
It must be noted that data analysis, direct observation and public feedback were taken while rating the police stations in India. In the initial stage of the survey, the parameters for short listing the police stations included property offences, crimes against women/ weaker sections, missing persons, unidentified found persons and unidentified bodies etc.
Point is unidentified bodies as a parameter was introduced in 2020 only. Manipur state based Kharsang police station belonging to Changlang district was third in the list released by the Union Ministry.
