Gender Neutral Employment Policy - Women, transgenders etc to run mobile tea shops on e-autos in Chennai

An outlet for snacks and beverages, Gilli Chai has launched mobile tea shops on e-autos and these would be run by women. Sound’s fantastic right!!
Saidapet Metro premise was buzzing with activities yesterday, 29th of December due to the presence of 2 ministers Mr. M.C. Sampath (Industries minister and Mr. D. Jayakumar (Fisheries minister). It must be taken into account that these ministers inaugurated the first fleet of mobile chai outlets at Saidapet Metro premises. Point is teas, coffee, snacks, cookies etc would be offered by this first-of-its-kind outlet and these e-autos based outlets would ply across Chennai.
As per Mr. Mohammad Rahamatullah, MD, Gilli Chai, it was clear that these e-autos would serve hot beverages snacks etc. He added that the fleet would be managed by women mostly.
In the near future, Chennai would have these mobile outlets in bus stands, parks, railway stations, play grounds, IT Parks etc. It was revealed by a statement that the overall workforce in the outlet would include men, women, transgenders and differently abled persons. This would be as per gender- neutral employment policy.
Mr. Azhagar Raja, director (Operations) of Gilli Chai spoke about how the traditional outlets that have been opened in Chennai, Puducherry and Dubai.
