Time extended for the refund of train tickets reserved for the cancelled trains!

An extension of time has been given for the refund of the train reservation tickets booked during the lockdown period when these trains were cancelled.
In a notification released by the Railway Administration in this regard, it is mentioned that the time for the refund has been extended from the originally announced period of 6 months to 9 months now.
When the country-wide lockdown was announced, it is worth noting that at that time, it was also informed that the passengers who had booked reservation tickets for trains can get the refund from the railway station counters.
