Minister for school education: Schools to function 6 days a week!

The Tamil Nadu State Government State Minister for School Education, K. A. Sengottaiyan informed that with schools having recently reopened (only for the 10th & 12th Standards), they will function 6 days a week.

The |Minister was participating in the review meeting regarding the organisation of special job opportunity camp in the private sector at Gopichettypalayam, Erode District. After the vent, he had a session with the press reporters. He shared:

“The schools have reopened recently for the 10th & 12th Standards. They wi function 6 days a week. They will remain closed on all Sundays declared Government holidays. Around 92% of the school students have started attending schools in both private and public sector schools. The rest of the students have been advised by the teachers to resume schooling.

Usually, the Legislative Assembly elections are announced 60 days in advance. Only after this, the detailed time-schedule for the Public Examinations will be announced. The details of examinations and awarding of marks for the students of other cases will be announced later.

The academicians who observe that 60% of the syllabus cannot be taught with the presently available working days must access information regarding the happenings in this regard in other states!

Once the school time gets over, online coaching classes for NEET will be conducted from 6.00 PM to 8.00 PM.”
