Great news for Tami Nadu farmers - Chief Minister discounts Rs. 12110 Crores agricultural loans!

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister E. Palaniswamy has announced that a total loan of Rs. 12110 Crores disbursed to farmers through the Cooperative Banks is being repealed!
The Chief Minister further informed that 16.43lakhs farmers will benefit by this.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister E. Palaniswamy made this announcement in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly under the Act 110.
As per the above announcement from the Chief Minister, farmers who availed loans but were affected and suffered hardships due to various reasons such as foods, coronavirus pandemic, etc., will benefit greatly!
As such, TamilNadu Chief Minister has also informed that this measure was taken as a relief to the farmers who were under great hardships during the coronavirus pandemic situation.
