The ongoing second test match between India and England has been sensational!!
This test at Chepauk in Chennai has caught the attention of many across the world now. Chennai based Ravichandran Ashwin earlier took 5 wickets in the England first innings in this test is known.
Yesterday, he made a sensational 100 and made many heads turn. Last time, he made a 100 was in the year 2016 against the same opponents England. This double feat of scoring 100 and taking 5wickets in the same test has been a fabulous effort.
It must be noted that England’s all-rounder Ian Botham had achieved this double feat 5 times in his career and now Ashwin has achieved this amazing feat thrice in his career. Ashwin also scored more than 1000 runs and has taken more than 100 wickets against England now. Experts, former cricketers, fans are now hoping for Ashwin to take 400 wickets soon. Amazing Ashwin!!
