New info on the reopening of schools for 1st to 8th Standard!

Coronavirus pandemic panic, which commenced at end of March 2020, is persisting among the citizens!

In this interim period between the outburst of the pandemic and the present, the raging coronavirus reached a peak and then started reducing gradually!

Presently, the State of Tamil Nadu is in the 6th Place among the list of states most affected by the raging coronavirus pandemic. Further, there has been an increasing trend in the number of infected recovering. As such, the citizens of Tamil Nadu have gradually returned to their normal day-to-day life routine!

In a similar urge to return to normalcy, the State Government of Tamil Nadu has shown particular interest in the reopening of schools as well!

The schools were reopened for the students of the 10th & 12th Standards in the State of Tamil Nadu on 19th January. While the teachers and the students were tested for any infection, there were no negative results regarding the coronavirus infection among t7hem. Subsequently, the schools were reopened for the students of the 9th & 11th Standards on 8th February.

The time-table for the Public Examinations for the 12th Standard was released yesterday (Wednesday, 17th February). The Public Examination for the 12th Standard is scheduled to commence on 3rd May. It is said to conclude on 21st May.

The Department of School Education of the State Government of Tamil Nadu is now planning in the next phase to announce the Public Examination Dates for the students of the 10th & 11th Standards.

The current academic year is set to conclude in the next 3 months. In this situation, there are expectations regarding the reopening of schools for the students of the 1st to 8th Standards.
