The school education minister Mr. K.A. Sengottaiyan hinted that each classroom would have just 25 students during the class 12 board examinations and this would be according to the SOP.
The minister later mentioned that almost 98% of the students are attending offline classes in various government schools in TN. There hasn’t been any drop outs from the schools and enrolments have increased. He added that the TN government was planning to conduct class 10 board exams before the assembly elections. It is said that more centres would be opened in order to cater to their needs.
The number of students who would be appearing for class 12 board exams would be announced soon. It must be taken into account that the temporary teachers appointed by the PTA could not be appointed in the permanent jobs.
It is important to note that the minister took part in the bhoomi pooja event to develop Kunderipallam dam into a tourist spot.
