Watch out for cooler summer season this year in Chennai and TN

Here comes an important piece of news for the people Chennai and TN!!

The weather experts have predicted that the interior districts of TN would witness an increase in the temperature over the next 48 hours. 

It is now brought to light by IMD that the state of TN is expected to have lower maximum temperatures in this summer or cooler summer. It was pointed out by an officer belonging to the meteorological department that at the isolated places over Madurai, Trichy, Karur, Salem, Namakkal, Dharmapuri, Tirupattur, Vellore and in the interior districts of TN in the next 48 hours the maximum temperature is likely to be above the normal by 2 to 3 degrees. On 6th March, There would be light rains over isolated places over south TN.

In the next 48 hours, Chennai city is expected to have higher maximum temperatures. It has been predicted that the maximum temperature is likely to be around 35 degrees Celsius and the minimum around 24 degrees Celsius. The skies would be clear. IMD had released a seasonal forecast for the season between March to May and as per that the lower maximum temperatures in TN are expected to be 0.355 less than the average but the minimum temperatures are expected to be 0.13 percent above the average.
