Information regarding the question papers etc for class 12 board examination students

In the month of May, the students of class 12 would be appearing for their board examinations in TN. It has been revealed now that the preparations for conducting the board examinations have reached the last stage with the question papers of truncated syllabus and answer sheets already being completed.

There have been some talks regarding postponement of the board examinations due to the rise in the Covid-19 cases is known to us. The DGE has decided to conduct board examinations for the students of class12. It must not be forgotten that the TN government had earlier announced that students belonging to classes 9 to 11 were promoted to higher classes.

In TN, More than 8lakhs students would be appearing for the class 12 board examinations from 3rd May to 21st of May. According to a senior official belonging to the school education department, the authorities have been discussing whether to postpone the board exams the work of setting question papers based on the truncated syllabus and printing of answer sheets were already ready.

To help the students of class12 to get some idea about the question paper pattern model question papers were already distributed among the students. The students would be able to download and print their hall tickets apart from the schools issuing hall tickets.

The senior officer later hinted about the answer sheets that would be transported to the exam centres and question papers that would be delivered a day before the examinations. By next week, the list of invigilators and flying squads would be prepared. There would be more examiners this time around and this would be due to the increase in the number of examination centres. Important piece of information is that these exam centres would be within 2km radius to avoid the students travelling long distances.
