This case came up for enquiry today (Monday, 31st May) in the Supreme Court. During the enquiry, the judges raised the question to the central government what decision has been taken on conducting the CBSE Public Examinations!

The Chief Advocate of the Central Government, Venugopal explained on behalf of the central government that a decision on this issue will be taken in the next 2 days and appealed for adjourning the enquiry.

The judges responded with the comment that the central government can take whatever decision but it should be policy-based and adjourned the case to Thursday (3rd June)!
