Prices of online meat sales up!

The prices of online meat sales have shot up! The public stands shocked

100% lockdown conditions are imposed in the State of Tamil Nadu as a preventive measure to prevent/check the raging resurgent coronavirus pandemic

The State Government of Tamil Nadu has permitted SALES OF MEAT ONLY ONLINE!

As an echo this condition,  1kg mutton which was sold at Rs. 840 per kg before the lockdown imposition is now sold online at Rs. 1050 to Rs. 1100/- per kg.

Even the small retail meat shop owners take orders on cell phones and deliver at the buyers’ residences! In this, mutton is sold at Rs. 960 to Rs. 1000/- per kg.

As such, the price of mutton has shot up by Rs. 300 to Rs. 350 per kg!

Meanwhile, as regards chicken prices, which were sold earlier at Rs. 230 to Rs. 240 per kg, are now sold at up to Rs. 300/- per kg.

However, despite the steep price rise for the online sales, the online traders inform that the SALES CONTINUE TO BE MORE BRISK THAN EARLIER!!
