The Chairman of the Port Trust Board Raveendran has informed that Ship services would be set to commence shortly from Chennai Port!
The Chairman of the Port Trust Board had a session with the press reporters. He shared that jointly with the private sector partnership, ship services are to commence shortly from the Chennai Port to Cuddalore, Nagappattinam, Puducherry, and Karaikkal under the ‘Ports Development Sagarwala’ Scheme.
In the 1st Phase, a review meeting has been conducted through a video conference with citizens who are interested in shipping services. The partnering companies will be selected shortly and activities will commence starting ship transport facility!
