The smart family Ration Card is by itself residential proof. However, the citizens not having a smart family ration card can apply for the residential proof certificate.
Documents required:
- Applicant’s photo (passport size)
- Aadhar card or family ration card
- Proof of date of birth
Applying Procedure
- First, visit the website: www.tnesevai.tn.gov.in/
- Click the option - ‘sign up’.
- Fill up all the details asked for.
- An OTP (One-Time-Password) will be received on the given cell phone number.
- Enter the OTP and register.
- Then, enter the User Name as given and the password and log in.
- Select the option ‘service revenue department’.
- Out of the list of services given, select ‘Residential Proof’.
- Click the option ‘Proceed’.
- CAN (application number) will be received on the given cell phone number.
- Register this CAN on the website.
- The details filled-up on the application will be displayed.
- Check and verify the details.
- Then, upload all the documents prepared and kept ready for this purpose.
- After this, download the ‘Self-declaration’ form given.
- Fill this up. Scan and upload a copy of this filled self-declaration form.
- Now, pay the fees of Rs. 60/- ONLINE for getting the residence proof certificate.
- After this, your application will be sent to the relevant office. Details given will be verified and an SMS (Short Message Service) will be sent to your mobile.
- Now, revisit the same website, log in, and download the ‘Residence Proof Certificate’!
