The State Government of Tamil Nadu has been undertaking various measures/efforts to check and prevent the spread of the raging resurgent coronavirus pandemic.
After these measures, the intensity of the spread of the virus reduced gradually and was almost arrested! However, since the last week, there has been an unwelcome increase in the spread of the coronavirus pandemic in Tamil Nadu. As such, the State Government of Tamil Nadu has imposed severe restrictions.
As such, severe restrictions have been imposed in the districts where the extent/impact of the coronavirus has been higher.
In the above-explained scenario, the State Government of Tamil Nadu has further announced that ALL CULTURAL PROGRAMMESGENERALLY ORGANISED ON THE OCCASION OF INDEPENDENCE DAY ARE CANCELLED THIS YEAR!
Further, it has emphasised that the public need not come to witness the Independence Day special programmes!
The State Government of Tamil Nadu has emphasised the district collectors to visit the residences of the participants in the struggle for i8ndependence and offer special respects and greetings on this occasion.
