Anna University Announcement: Classes recommence from today (18th August)!

Due to the first and the resurgent 2nd wave of the raging coronavirus pandemic, all schools and colleges have remained closed throughout Tamil Nadu!
Due to this, classes and examinations were constrained to be conducted only ONLINE!
The new Academic year has already commenced. However, there has been no announcement so far regarding the reopening of schools and colleges.
In this scenario, Anna University has announced that the semester classes for the engineering courses for the new academic year will commence from today (Wednesday, 18th August).
Due to the raging coronavirus pandemic, the new semester classes WILL ALSO BE CONDUCTED ONLINE ONLY!
Anna University has ordered all the engineering colleges to conduct classes online for the students of the 2nd, 3rd, and the final year from today (Wednesday, 18th August).
Subsequently, Anna University has emphasised all the engineering colleges to commence the practical examinations from 2nd December and the semester examinations from 13th December.
It has been announced that the classes for the next semester are to commence on 19th January 2022.
