Recently the schools reopened in the state of Tamil Nadu for the students belonging to the classes 9 to 12. Parents and students are now very much eager to know about the reopening of the schools for lower classes.

After 8th September 2021, a decision regarding reopening schools for the junior classes would be taken and this was according to the school education minister Mr. Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi. He threw light on how the school education department has been keeping an eye on the developments ever since the schools reopened for the students of classes 9 to 12 or senior students. The school education minister spoke about how the department would observe the response after the first 8 days of school reopening for the senior students.

It is now clear that after 8th of September discussions would be held with the chief minister of TN plus with various officials regarding reopening the schools for junior classes. To ensure the safety of students and teachers in TN, nearly 800 medical professionals are involved in surveillance under the RBSK initiative. This was due to the fact that few students and teachers have tested positive for Covid-19 infection in various districts. It is brought to light that the classrooms of the students who have tested positive for Covid-19 infection have been sanitised and closed and the students have been shifted to different rooms.

To maintain hygiene at the schools, workers would be mobilised through local bodies and through district education offices. This was mainly due to various complaints that have been received regarding school teachers cleaning their own school campuses due to lack of sanitation workers.

It is worthy to mention that there were more than 12000 pending litigation pertaining before the TRB and school education department. Point is that these issues would be resolved one after another.
