Reopening of schools up to class 8 in Tamil Nadu - Whats going on now?

The students of classes 1 to 8 have been learning through online mode in Tamil Nadu. The schools for the classes 9 to 12 have reopened again and the students are coming to their schools with huge enthusiasm. With the Coronavirus pandemic brought under control, it is expected that schools would reopen for classes up to class 8 in Tamil Nadu.

Today, there would be discussions regarding the reopening of schools for the classes till 8th class and many high level officials would be taking part.

The shocking truth is that the students up to class 8 would be affected mentally if the direct physical classes do not resume for them. This was revealed by some medical experts. It is learnt that ICMR and WHO have issued guidelines for resuming classes in primary schools.

Today, regarding resuming schools up to class 8, discussions would be held between the top level officials of various departments including medical department, school education department, revenue department, rural development department and municipal administration. It is said that after the discussions, the chief minister would announce the reopening of schools up to class 8 in TN. Those students who are eager and interested to attend the physical classes could come to the schools.

Point is that the many private schools are ready to conduct direct physical classes for the students up to class 8 now. It is brought to light that there are few education officials and teachers are reluctant to reopen schools for the junior classes. It is now clear that the school education officials would suggest that the parents who are willing to send their children to the schools could send and the students would not be forced to and the physical classes. This was according to some school education department circles.
