Indian Meteorological Centre (IMD) has warned the fishermen NOT TO VENTURE INTO THE SEA FOR FISHING AS A CYCLONE, NAMED ‘Shaheen’ is forming in the north Arabian sea by tomorrow morning (Friday, 1st October).
In a notification released regarding this, the Indian Meteorological Centre (IMD) has mentioned:
The low-pressure zone which developed over the Bay of Bengal has transformed into a cyclone ‘Gulab; and crossed the coast. Cyclone Gulab centered over south Gujarat yesterday (29th September). In this situation, this has developed into a depression zone and may transform itself into a cyclone by tomorrow (Friday, 1st October) over the North Arabian Sea.
As such, the sea will be stormy. Fishermen are warned NOT TO VENTURE INTO THE SEA FOR THE NEXT 2 DAYS. This cyclone has been named ‘Shaheen’. It is expected to drift towards Pakistan.”
