The residents of Chennai would have to wait patiently for long hours also whenever traffic gets held up due to the movement of VIPs etc. This issue won’t be there hereafter.

It is worthy to note that the Justice Mr. N. Anand appreciated the State Home Secretary for taking immediate steps to ease traffic movement during the VIPS visit to public places in Chennai.

It must be remembered that the judge was irked due to the action of police personnel in erecting barricades on the roads and stopping vehicles including his. This led to starting the court work late on the 1st of October. The judge mentioned that the police personnel did not make any arrangement to let the judges go without any issue.

Point to be noted is that on 1st October the police personnel had made special arrangements restricting the movement of vehicles due to the 93rd birthday celebrations of popular Tamil actor Mr, Sivaji Ganesan at his memorial near Adyar Bridge in RA. Puram. The CM of TN plus other ministers took part in the celebrations on that day. The vehicle in which the judge was present was stopped for around 30 minutes. It is shocking to note that this took place despite the judge assistant informing the police authorities in advance.
