Ration shops: arrangements made for essential items to be sold for 3 days before Deepavali!

Deepavali festival is set to be celebrated in the State of Tamil Nadu on 4th November.
As such, the State Government of Tamil Nadu has ordered that all essential items be made available to the public before the festival.
As such, to facilitate the family ration cardholders, the special essential items required for November will be given earlier.
For this purpose, from today (Monday, 1st November) till 3rd November (Wednesday), the State Government of Tamil Nadu has announced that the ration shops will remain open from 8.00 AM to 7.00 PM.
Accordingly, all items required have already been sent to the ration shops.
Advance action has been taken for this to ensure that the public does suffer during the festive occasion!
The District Distribution Officers have been instructed to check and confirm that all the rations hop function as per the timings above.
The State Government of Tamil Nadu has further announced that those who could not buy the ration items before 3rd November can buy the same after 7th November.
