From today, online registrations begin for e-pass for darshan at Tiruvannamalai Arunachaleswarar Temple!!

Devotees all over would feel delighted by this important piece of information!!

The management belonging to the Tiruvannamalai temple have announced that the devotees could get darshan by booking online from today onwards.  Every year, Karthigai deepam festival is celebrated in a grand manner in this famous temple is well known to us. On 10th November 2021, the festival would start with a flag hoisting ceremony. The flag would be hoisted on the Kodi maram between 6am to 7:30 am in the morning on 10th November.

The deepam festival here would take place for 10 days. It is worthy to note that on 19th November barani deepam would be lit at 4am in the early morning. Likewise, maha deepam would be lit at 6pm in the evening on a mountain of height 2668 feet that is behind the temple.

 It is known that the TN government has not been allowing crowds in important places due to the Coronavirus pandemic and Covid-19 protocols has been followed by the public. For the Karthigai deepam festival also, many restrictions would be there in this temple to prevent the spread of Coronavirus infection.

From tomorrow, 7th November onwards, every day 13000 devotees only would be allowed to have darshan of the god. The devotees would be able to get darshan from 6am in the morning till 8pm in the evening. The darshan would be allowed from 7th to 17th November and from 21st to 23rd November. E-pass would be issued for the darshan for the devotees and the registrations begin from today Saturday, 6th November.

The devotees could book for their e-passes through websites www.arunachaleswarartemple.tnhrce.in and www.tnhrce.gov.in.

The day of darshan and time etc must be registered in the websites by the devotees for getting e-passes. Those who want to get e-pass must upload their aadhar number plus other details like mobile number, certificates of having received 2 doses of vaccination etc

 It is now said that the 30% devotees from Tiruvannamalai district and 70% from other outside districts would be allowed for darshan. Point is that the information has been mentioned by the Arunachaleswarar temple authorities.
