Situated on a 24 acres land, this hospital belonging to Kancheepuram district in TN would soon become sensational in cancer treatment.
The minister for health Mr. M. Subramanian mentioned that the Kancheepuram district based Arignar Anna Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research centre would be upgraded and it would become one of India’s premier cancer research institutions.
The minister was busy interacting with the international patients who received treatment at Apollo Proton Cancer Centre. He spoke about how the Tamil Nadu government would upgrade the Kancheepuram district cancer hospital at a cost of Rs 120 crores.
It is known that Mumbai based Tata Memorial Hospital is very famous for providing top class facilities for the patients. In the same way, this Kancheepuram based cancer hospital would also become one. This was according to the healthy minister. Amount of Ts 300 crores was planned to improve its infrastructure facilities.
It was later brought out by Preetha Reddy, executive vice-chairman of Apollo Hospitals that many patients across the globe come to Apollo Hospitals for treatment as the hospital provides superb facilities. She was happy that many patients had huge faith in the hospital.
