Guess which state has got more road accident black spots now?

It was confirmed by the Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways or MORTH Mr. Nitin Gadkari that the state of Tamil Nadu has got the most number of road accident black spots in the entire India.
It must be noted that TN topped the list with as many as748 black spots and was followed by West Bengal with 701 black spots. The state of Karnataka was third with as many as 551 black spots.
The Union minister later revealed that between 2016 and 2018 the total number of black spots identified on the NH was 5803. Factors like fatality rates and accident data submitted by various states determine the number of black spots and these are identified by TRW or the transport research wing of MORTH. In the year 2016, the NH in TN witnessed 5755 accidents and 2074 fatalities. In 2017, National Highways in TN witnessed 5752 accidents and 2096 fatalities. There were as many as 5071 accidents and 1796 fatalities in 2018.
