The admission for the Indian medical system graduate courses on Siddha, Ayurvedha, Unani, etc., offered by the government and homoeopathy medical colleges in Tamil Nadu State is scheduled to commence from 28th December.
In a notification released in this regard by the Directorate of Indian Medical and Homeopathy, it is mentioned:
“Applications are invited from the eligible le candidates with good marks in their elective subjects of English and Science) and having passed NEETU. G. -2021 (National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test conducted in 2021) for joining the medical courses of Indian Medical systems including Siddha and Homeopathy (B.A.M>S.< B.S.M.S., B.U. M. S., offered by the government and self-financed medical colleges in the State of Tamil Nadu.
Quota seats are as under:
· The Government quota seats in the Tamil Nadu State Government and self-financed Indian Medical and Homeopathy Medical colleges
· Management Quota seats available in the Tamil Nadu State Government and self-financed Indian Medical and Homeopathy Medical Colleges
The application forms and the information guide manual (for the government and the management quota separately) can be downloaded from the website: www.tnhealth.tn.gov.in .
Further, please note that APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE GIVEN FROM THE DIRECTORATE OF THE INDIAN MEDICAL AND HOMEOPATHY LOCATED IN ARUMBAKKAM, CHENNAI METRO CITY OR THE OFFICE OF THE SELECTION COMMITTEE OR ANY OF THE GOVERNMENT AND SELF-FINANCED MEDICAL AND HOMEOPATHY COLLEGES!
· Starting date for registration for application:: 10.00 AM 28th December
· Last date for downloading the application: 5.00 PM 18th January 2022
· Last date for submission of filled application forms: 5.30 PM 18th January 2022.

So, candidates interested in pursuing the above medical courses need to read the information guidance manual thoroughly and as per these instructions, fill up the relevant application form and attach copies of all the required certificates/documents and submit the same so that it reaches the Secretary, Office of the Department of Indian and Homeopathy Medical Courses Selection Committee, Arignar Anna Government Indian Medical Hospitalal Complex, Arumbakkam, Chennai- 600106 before 5.30 PM on 18th January.
Please note that applications received after this deadline will not be entertained! Note that the counselling session will follow the prevailing regulations on a caste-based rotational basis.”
